Cleaning instructions
- Before first use or after each use, please unplug the power plug and allow it to cool down automatically. In addition, just wipe the surface of the main body with a damp cloth; please use b&h natural bottle vegetable and fruit cleaning liquid to clean the basket, top cover and the inside of the main body and wipe them dry.
- Do not immerse the main body in water for cleaning. It is prohibited to use corrosive detergents, chemical abrasive powdered cleaning agents, hard wire mesh brushes or scouring pads to clean the main body and Teflon-coated heating plate.
- It is recommended to descale the Teflon-coated heating plate every 1-2 weeks to avoid mineral deposits.
- Methods as below:
- White vinegar: Dilute 30ml white vinegar with 60ml cold water and pour it into the main body. No need to heat, soak for 20 minutes (if you don’t have a weekly soaking habit, you may need longer soaking time to remove scale). After the scale is removed, pour away the white vinegar water, carefully clean the inside of the main body with clean water and dry it.
- Citric acid: Dissolve 10 grams of citric acid in 150ml of water, then pour the citric acid water into the body. No need to heat, soak for 20 minutes (if you don’t have a weekly soaking habit, you may need longer soaking time to remove scale). After the scale is removed, pour away the citric acid water, carefully clean the inside of the main body with clean water and dry it. Before using citric acid, it is recommended to read the instructions for use in detail, keep out of eyes, and keep out of the reach of children.
