The new KIDFIX i-SIZE has been designed and approved to the new i-Size standard, making it the most secure KIDFIX yet. Every feature on the seat was developed with one thing in mind – maximum protection. The proven technologies of XP-PAD , SICT and SecureGuard are now combined with a redesigned seating area for optimal crash performance, providing all-round protection.

Redesigned seating area for optimal crash performance : In close collaboration with leading car manufacturers, the seat area has been redesigned to minimise neck strain by 50 kg.

Unique protection for the neck and chest : To protect your child's sensitive neck area in the event of a frontal impact, Britax Römer has developed a shock-absorbing foam pad. It protects your child from chin-to-chest impacts, absorbing up to 30 % of the energy. The forward movement of the head is reduced and the neck is protected. At the same time, it provides additional padding around the edges of the seat belt.

Advanced Side Impact Protection – SICT: In the event of a side impact, our SICT reduces the impact force by minimizing the distance between the car and the car seat, and deforms to absorb energy, providing superior protection for your child. To secure it, simply adjust the SICT on the side of the car seat closest to the door. SICT can reduce side impact forces by up to 40 %.

SecureGuard: Helps protect your child's delicate abdominal area by adding an additional fourth point of contact to the three-point harness. By keeping the harness in an optimal position over your child's pelvic bones, SecureGuard helps reduce abdominal forces by up to 35 % in the event of a frontal collision, while allowing your child to move freely during travel.

Easily adjustable ergonomic headrest : Designed for older children, it easily adjusts to the correct position. Helpful markings on the rear of the headrest guide parents to easily find the correct headrest height every time when changing seats between cars or transporting multiple children in the same seat.

Air circulation : Strategically placed vents help air flow, keeping your child comfortable for longer.
